Take advantage of this opportunity to receive weekly resources, and more, to support you in the last year of your program. CEC, with thanks to the TCSN mentor workgroup of special education professionals, will provide you with the tools you need to be a successful teacher
You will receive:
- Complimentary CEC Pre-Service Teacher Membership valid from 8/1/2024 – 7/31/2-25 for all who sign up
- Access to weekly resources to support you in student teaching
- An online community where you can share questions and gain feedback from your peers along with seasoned special education professionals from CEC’s TCSN mentor workgroup
- Weekly prompts in the online community, moderated by the TCSN mentor workgroup, to reflect on and apply the weekly resources
- Opportunity for your cooperating teacher and university faculty member to be provided the same resources, as well as talking points to discuss the resource with the student teacher
- Monthly Sip & Chats, our version of an interactive webinar
- Monthly office hours with TCSN mentor workgroup members to ask questions and get support you may need

Yes! Click Here to join the cohort! Membership is just a piece of it, by joining the cohort you will gain access to the bi-weekly resources as well as the online community to network with peers.
Your member benefits will not be affected by joining the cohort, and even though the cohort membership only goes until 7/31/2025, your membership will revert back to what you originally had paid for as of 8/1/2025. If your membership was set to expire prior to joining the cohort you will need to renew your membership.
The Teacher Candidate Support Network Membership is thru 7/31/2025
Yes, this program is open to those in an alternative certification program during the last year of their program.
Teacher candidates who are completing paid on-the-job internships as the final part of their education preparation program and who are under the supervision of a university faculty supervisor and/or cooperating teacher may participate in this program or the last year of their special education teacher preparation program

Any candidate in the last year of a special education teacher preparation program qualify to participate in this program
Yes, you are eligible for the TCSN and therefore eligible for the complimentary one-year pre-service teacher membership.
